Key Accountabilities:
  • The role has both global and SEAA cluster responsibilities for fruits procurement. The global fruits portfolio has a spend of 100 million Euro, scope of 200 suppliers, sourced mainly for refreshment and foods categories. The SEAA part of the role covers the deployment of all key procurement activities with high complexity, and in fast growing environment.
  • Fruits are an important raw material for brand communication to customers and consumers and hence have strategic influence on some of the key Unilever brands around the world. This is combined with high growth ambitions and a 100% sustainability ambition. As examples, we support Fruttare brand identity, directly linked to fruits globally. Fruits is strategically important for SEAA, being main ingredient for Buavita brand, with 17% CAGR in Indonesia.
  • This role requires a strategic understanding of global initiatives to drive them and also a cluster responsibility for SEAA for execution of all key procurement activities in a very volatile environment.
Accountable and responsible for:

  • Develop cost savings opportunities based on sourcing strategies and compliance management and drive the implementation
  • To ensure that all business partners for SEAA fruits portfolio are completely SQA and RS compliant and are registered in the USQS before any commercial transaction is initiated
  • Run the tendering process both for global portfolio and SEAA cluster together with procurement manager, from tender preparation to making subsequent analysis, including supplier negotiations, ensuring team alignment, and execution of results
  • Drive team activities in accordance with the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan in SEAA cluster and support the other clusters from a global perspective
  • Execute sustainability road map with relevant team members and suppliers
  • Be custodian of the team material/service and project databases
  • Do financial analysis of the portfolio, including price benchmarking and total cost analysis both SEAA and global
  • Drive complexity reduction programs for SEAA cluster and support the Team for global achievement in other clusters, partnering with MET members
  • Continuously improve ways of working e.g. more efficient ways of handling data, thereby close co-operation with Enterprise support and Capability Teams
  • Handle diverse customer, supplier or operational issues when they arise.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of Unilever's internal customers with the services provided by the procurement organization
  • Ensure effective supplier relationship management from a global perspective with global suppliers and with local/regional suppliers specific to SEAA cluster, working with relevant procurement managers, providing quality data and managing efficient communication
  • Update of Counterparty Risk Tracker
  • Create and update contracts in the system and ensure they are returned signed from supplier (UPC, CTC, STC, UPA)
  • Prepare information on purchase prices and conditions to enable proper budgeting, cash forecasting and forecast variance analysis as needed
  • Ensure security of key materials through the development of contingency plans and alternative materials/suppliers, working with Procurement Materials teams
In addition to the above responsibilities; the role also has to support the procurement manager and director in all aspects of the role. Main areas of support as below:
  • Support the procurement organization to meet their goals and objectives, driven by the overall Unilever strategy.
  • Work with the team for the development and implementation of Unilever procurement strategies, policies by portfolio
  • Consolidating the periodic Executive Summary for the Team and reporting various KPIs (e.g. VIP, ADBR, Portfolio and Market updates, Payment Terms Tracker, BDOC, Sustainability, Supplier Performance) across Ingredients 3 portfolio globally
  • Management and maintenance of supplier relationships
  • Work with Procurement Director and Procurement managers on presentations and updates for internal and external audience
  • Support in HR issues (Org Charts, tracking of Team member trainings)
  • Work closely with Procurement Director to respond to requests from CPO, UPLT, Procurement VPs
Personal Profile

Qualifications:
  • University degree.
  •  2-3 years experience in FMCG, preferably in procurement or R&D. (Other preferred experiences might be different supply chain functions and sales)

The core responsibilities of this role will be to:



  • Lead the development of the Brand Building promotion and activation activity. Including product factory banded promotion and product demo implementation.
  • Establish and maintain a Community of Practice for product claim co-generation with brand building, CTI and regulatory function. Including preparing product registration and artwork compliance approval process.
  • Coordinate and work closely with sourcing unit country for imported product on local technical requirement.
  • Work closely with GtM quality assurance and customer careline on handling consumer and customer product complaint.
Main Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:
  • To supervise and support the Order Processor in delivering their responsibility.
  • To monitor the integrity of SAP output to ensure no information error.
  • To confirm supply plan together with Order processor team for 13wks rolling forecast and inform customers should any deviation between forecast vs. supply.
